Notice of Nomination Proceedings for RMB MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Mayor and Council
PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT
Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Rural Municipality of Belfast that a Municipal Election will be held on:
Monday, November 7, 2022
to elect one Mayor and six Councillors for the
Rural Municipality of Belfast for a four-year term;
up to the next General Election in November, 2026.
The Nomination Period for the Council positions commence on:
October 12, 2022 and closes at 2:00 pm on October 21, 2022.
Nomination Packages are available at the Municipal Election Office at:
13056 Shore Road, Wood Islands, PEI;
and completed Nominations shall only be received during office hours at the Municipal Election Office.
Office hours shall be:
October 12 – 14, and 17 – 21 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

A candidate must file their completed Nomination Paper at the Municipal Election Office no later than October 21, 2022 by 2:00 pm.
